Proposals and Resolutions of the 32nd General Body Meeting

Date: Wednesday, April 9, 2025
Time: 5:00 PM
Venue: Senior Citizen Bhavan, Conference Hall

The 32nd General Body Meeting of the Association was convened at the designated time and venue. The meeting proceeded in an orderly manner, during which the following agenda items were discussed and resolutions passed:

1. Welcome Address.
The meeting commenced with a cordial welcome by the President, who greeted all members present and officially opened the 32nd General Assembly.

2. Introduction of New Members.
The assembly extended a warm welcome, with applause, to the newly inducted members—C.A. Vijaya Kumar Garu, Ch. Vasudev Reddy Garu, and B. Venkateswara Gupta Garu. Following their introduction, both Mr. Vasudev Reddy and Mr. Venkateswara Gupta shared their brief introduction.

3. Birthday Felicitations – April.
The members extended birthday greetings to the following individuals born in April:
o N. Satyanarayana Garu (April 1)
o Aruva Ravinder Garu (April 2)
o M. Govind Rao Garu (April 3)
o A. Ramulu Garu (April 5)
o K. Srinivas Goud Garu (April 7)
o P.V.N. Prasad Garu (April 11)
o S. Subramaniam Garu (April 19)
o N. Srinivas Reddy Garu (April 24)
o P. Nagabhushanam Garu (April 30)
With the generous support of Executive Committee Member C.H. Lakshman Goud Garu, shawls were arranged for felicitation. The following members, who were present during the meeting, were felicitated with shawls: Aruva Ravinder Garu, M. Govind Rao Garu, A. Ramulu Garu, and P. Nagabhushanam Garu.
As a gesture of celebration, Aruva Ravinder Garu graciously offered swerets and snacks to all members on the occasion of his birthday.

4. Health Awareness Talk – “Doctor Gari Salahaalu”
Under this ongoing initiative, Dr. C. Manik Prabhu delivered an insightful presentation on oral and throat health. He elaborated on preventive care and precautions through a multimedia session.

5. Ugadi Celebrations.
On the occasion of Ugadi, Venu Mohan Garu and Bhaskar Garu prepared and served traditional Ugadi Pachchadi to all members. The President expressed heartfelt appreciation for their thoughtful contribution.
Dr. Jayant Kumar Garu addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Ugadi Pachchadi and the tradition of Panchanga Shravanam.
The celebrations were further enriched with poetic and musical contributions by Maruthi Ram Garu and Vadlamani Satyanarayana Murthy Garu.
With the kind courtesy of V. Yadaiah Garu, festive sweets were served to all attendees.
The President extended his sincere thanks to Mr. Yadaiah Garu for his generous sponsorship.

6. Acknowledgment of Get-Together Success.
The President expressed gratitude to all those involved in making the Get-Together Party held on March 23, 2025, at ICRISAT, a resounding success.
Special thanks were extended to committee members: O.M. Kavi Garu, Dr. C. Manik Prabhu Garu, P. Bhaskar Garu, V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu, and K. Pandu Rangaiah Garu for their efforts in planning and coordination.
A special mention was made to O.M. Kavi Garu for his unwavering support throughout the event.

7. Chit Fund Update.
V. Yadaiah Garu, the final recipient of the first chit series, was formally presented with an amount of Rs. 55,000.00 during the meeting.
In the second series, M.V.V. Kameshwar Rao Garu emerged as the recipient through a fair draw.

8. Commencement of New Chit Fund Series.
It was unanimously resolved to initiate a new chit series starting from May 2025, in order to support the association’s financial requirements.
9. Visitors' Book Acknowledgment.
The Chairman appreciated the members who took the time to record their attendance and remarks in the Visitors' Book.

10. Corpus Fund Discussion.
During the Question Hour, with the permission of the Chair, V. Narasimha Rao Garu raised a suggestion regarding the enhancement of the corpus fund. He acknowledged the contributions made by senior members toward the building's construction and encouraged newly joined members to support the initiative.
Inspired by the appeal, A. Ramulu (Bhajana) Garu promptly donated Rs. 5,000.00, setting a commendable example. The President requested others to consider similar contributions.

11. Presidential Concluding Remarks.
In his concluding address, the President reflected on the importance of mutual respect, unity, and harmony within the association.
He reminded members of their shared experiences and wisdom, emphasizing that any issues should be addressed collectively and amicably. He highlighted the association’s esteemed standing in the community and stressed the need to uphold its dignity and values.
The President encouraged members to engage in respectful and cheerful dialogue and to maintain a nurturing environment conducive to the association’s continued success and reputation.

12. Vote of Thanks.
The meeting was formally concluded with a vote of thanks by K. Panduragaiah Garu.
